Mr
Maze quoted for work to remove and re-mortar in the roof
valleys and fill between the wall and soffit board with
mastic. We arranged a date and he phoned me to
agree a time to arrive on the day and arrived promptly.
The work was carried out efficiently and in good time. The
waste mortar was removed. Whilst on the roof he
directed his labourer to clear an area of guttering that I had
been meaning to clear but never got around to. I am
very satisfied with the work and would recommend Mr Maze to friends
and relatives.

Good job. Worthy of their hire. 5 slates replaced and 2 chimneys made good. Paul and his mate did the work safely with ladders (others had said they needed scaffolding to assess the job and more scaffolding to do the work, unnecessary cost!!). A real 'can do' man ! Some challenging roofing problems presented themselves,not least a part 2 storey part 3 storey roof.Paul quickly sorted out what could best be done with about 24 missing or broken tiles and resourcefully completed these tasks in very quick time as well as mending two leaking gutters (one at very high level). Nothing seemed beyond him and he is somebody who is prepared to go'that extra mile' to ensure he leaves behind a professional job well done and a satisfied customer. Definitely would wish to use his services again and would willingly speak to anybody seeking assurance.

Paul came to visit and discussed the required work with me. He recommended replacing my 'frazzled' felt with 'fascia trays' under the lower edges of the roof tiles, to better run the water off into the guttering. Paul did the work on the pre-arranged date and made a tidy job of it. Paul also fitted trays in an additional area which I had forgotten to mention previously and only mentioned - over the phone - on the morning Paul was due to arrive (sorry!). Paul is frendly and has a great work ethic. He communicates well up-front, to leave you in no doubt that he knows what he's doing, and will do what's required. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul.

Paul has been out to me twice this year, once to fix loose slates on my roof and today to repair the flashing on the porch. Paul is such a nice person and very professional, always comes to have a look beforehand, is honest about what needs doing and always sends a quote first. His rates are very reasonable, he is prompt and always does a great job - he even managed to fit me in 2 weeks before the quoted date this time, which was fantastic with Winter weather fast approaching! Paul fixed my leaking chimney breast and replaced some roof tiles which were leaking due to the wrong size tiles being fitted by a previous workman (cowboy). Paul did a wonderful job, very tidy, finished in good time and - due to a misunderstanding, even came back and did some extra work free of charge. Paul is an honest, hard worker. I have had two previous 'roofers' fix my roof in the past (allegedly) and it has continued to leak. Needless to say Paul has now sorted the problem with no fuss and a professional attitude. Very reasonably priced too. I would recommend him to anybody who asks. I will even give you the names of the two other workmen to avoid at all costs! Thanks Paul, it was a real pleasure to have had you do my work.

Paul turned up on time and completed the job for a reasonable price. Has a somewhat unusual way of working on the roof but it is cheaper than scaffolding. Roof tested lastnight in the torrential rain from the thunderstorm - no problem.
Paul did a very good job pointing our chimney stack and repairing the internal leak. Paul was a very tidy worker and very knowlegable and friendly character. Highly recommend Paul if you have roofing issues. Would certainly use again. Paul says it as it is no messing about.
Great bloke, arrived precisely on time and couldn't have been more helpful. Moreover this was quite an unusual job erecting a ham radio antenna with various pulley systems, ropes and bits of wire (which by the way works beautifully). Will be straight on the phone again if I need any more assistance in the future (I hate heights and couldn't have done this on my own).
Paul came out to give us a quote on our leaking roof. He went up onto the roof to actually check what was wrong with it, which was reassuring. We had a few other quotes and when they came around they didn't even get onto the roof. Paul's quote was reasonable and so we hired him for the job. He was very prompt and did the work for us when he said. He came around with one other guy and they were both very friendly. Paul even helped us out by doing a few little extra things and charged us a very reasonable rate for doing so! I would highly recommend him.
